Chris has spent his career working at the intersection of technology, people, and business strategy. Both agency and client side, across industries ranging from early-stage start-ups to globally recognised enterprise organisations. In his current role as Head of GTM Technology and Solutions at RevOps consultancy Innovation Visual, he works with businesses every day on the same fundamental challenge: getting their systems, processes, and people to actually work together. Not in theory. In practice.
What that work has taught him is that technology is rarely the problem or the hardest thing to get right. The hard part is the human beings making decisions and most often, the human being at the top.
You Are No Longer The Smartest One In The Room was written because that conversation needed to be had directly, and honestly, with the people who need it most. Chris isn't a technologist cheerleading for AI, and he's not a sceptic urging caution. He's someone who has watched what happens inside organisations when leaders get this right and when they don't.
